Surely there's more to life
than Instagram?!

In today’s world, we increasingly rely on smartphones for a huge variety of things (ironically, least of all for actually making calls)! From endlessly checking messages, likes and comments to doom scrolling, many people spend hours every day looking at their screens and we know that the science is telling us, very unequivocally, that it isn’t making us feel good. Too much screen time can be detrimental for our mental health, our self-image, our ability to focus and many other things. Do you find that you can’t make it through a whole movie (or even an episode) anymore without at least picking up your phone? Do you find yourself anxiously checking social media throughout the day (or engaging in combative interactions with people online)? Or perhaps reading and re-reading old messages just for the dopamine hit? If any of this sounds familiar, I would love to help you.

Managing screen time can feel like a difficult thing to navigate; our dependence on smartphones means that taking a total digital detox isn’t often practical or feasible, but it is entirely possible to develop a healthy relationship with how you use your devices.

In our sessions, I use a combination of solution-focused talking therapy and hypnotic trance to help you to achieve a different mindset around your phone use, supporting you whilst you shift your focus to things which serve you in a more meaningful way. Many of my clients that I work with find that they are able to make changes surprisingly quickly, and it is always truly wonderful for me to hear about all of the positive things that happen in their daily lives as a result. If you’d like to learn more, please get in touch and we can arrange a no-obligation call and a totally free consultation in which I will explain the process and answer any questions that you might have.

Reconnect with the things that make you happy, and develop a real sense of control and purpose going forward.
